One of my tiger paintings "The last territory" was sold at a major wildlife
auction at Christies in London in June 2004. The proceeds went to the David Shepherd Wildlife Foundation.

In 2004 I began discussions with a producer about making a documentary featuring several wildlife artists working in different media to produce a final piece of work. (watch this space!) We decided to use the Amur tiger as our subject. This lead me to contact an organisation called Amur (www.amur.org.uk) Who do an amazing job raising funds for the Amur tiger and leopard. They were very supportive and I painted an amur leopard which I donated to their organisation. The image was used on their 2004 Christmas card

As a result of my sucess at the Marwell Art Society exhibition in 2003, I was able to adopt a tiger from the Sumatran Tiger Trust.
The adoption actually covered three tigers (all siblings). The charity uses the money they raise to conserve the habitat of sumatran tigers and to protect them from poaching
